Site access

The access road and parking area offer excellent panoramic views of Bluff Knoll and the surrounding range. There are two types of paths through this attraction, one is a wide bitumen path and the other is a steel mesh decking area that leads to all of the lookouts, with gradients up to 1:14.

There are three wheelchair accessible viewing decks located on the steel mesh pathway. There are seats along the path (49cm high). Pedestrian access is via a bitumen path that links directly with the parking area. The bitumen path joins onto a steel mesh viewing area and is linked by a ramp with gradient 1:20 over a length of 1.5m

The interpretive information panels and viewing deck are located 90m from the toilets (maximum grade of path is 5.4 degrees). The distance between the sheltered picnic area and the interpretive information panels is 105m (maximum grade of 4 degrees).

Parking

There are designated accessible parking bays in the parking area. Wheelchair accessible paths and grated walkways with seats provide access around the parking area.

Toilets

Toilets are available.
  • Wheelchair accessible

Steel mesh decking provides access to the wheelchair accessible toilets.

The accessible toilets are located over the steel mesh decking approximately 35m from the closest designated accessible parking bay.
