Site access

While the Nature’s Window walk is not currently wheelchair accessible, visitors with restricted mobility can see panoramic views of the Murchison River gorge from the top lookout. There is a wheelchair accessible lookout/viewing deck at the start of the walk. This offers visitors panoramic views of the Murchison River gorge, including some limited water views.

The main picnic facilities are housed in two adjoining shelters. These are centrally located and within close proximity (5 to 10m) to the nearest car and bus parking bays.

Access to the shelters is over open and reasonably level ground with a firm surface.

Parking

While there are no designated accessible bays, the parking area has ample space to accommodate visitors with mobility restrictions. The parking area is elevated and offers expansive views over the surrounding landscape.

The unsealed parking area can accommodate approximately 35 sedans/four-wheel drives plus 8 – 10 tourist coaches. During busy times, visitors also parallel park along the access road. During these periods, the attraction can become quite congested.

Toilets

Toilets are available.

Two unisex toilets are located on the periphery of the site not far from the nearest parking bays. Access is over open and reasonably level ground. The nearest accessible toilet is located at the Kalbarri Skywalk.

This site has two unisex toilets, neither of which is wheelchair accessible. The nearest accessible toilet is located at the Kalbarri Skywalk. The toilets are located on the periphery of the site and within 12 – 15m of the nearest parking bays. Access is over open and reasonably level ground with gradients under 2.
