About this park
The Donnelly State forest encompasses around 27,000 hectares of karri, jarrah and marri forest south west of Manjimup. Learn about how a karri forest can regenerate from a wheat field at 100 Year Forest or visit the Diamond Tree - a former fire lookout tree.
Although the Diamond Tree is closed to climbing, it is still a great spot for picnic and you can follow the Jim Fox walk trail while you're there.
Safety information
Plan when to visit. Read this safety information about bushwalking. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!
- Diamond Tree is now permanently closed to climbing after expert assessments found rot in the base of the tree and recommended all climbing should cease.
