About this place

This red coloured cliff lookout over the Fortescue River reveals the breadth of the occasional deluge of water that spills across the floodplain. Overlooks Crossing Pool and Deep Reach. The extensive woodland is frequented by corellas and fruit bats. A cycle path connects to Millstream Homestead and Miliyanha campground.

Site access

The main lookout is 40m from the nearest parking bay. Access to this and two other clifftop vista points is via a 300m long barrier free gravel path.

Parking

The parking area is a 500m one way loop, gravel road with individual parking spaces marked by metal bollards and wheel stops. There is also a long vehicle bay, 33m by 7m.

No toilets at this location. Follow Leave No Trace principles.
