We recognise and acknowledge Aboriginal people as the Traditional Owners of Shell Beach Conservation Park.

Enjoy a walk or a swim at a beach formed entirely of billions of tiny white shells heaped into ridges up to 10 metres deep.

About this place

The unique composition of the beach makes it one of only two of its type in the world. Tiny shells that stretch for over 70 kilometres. In the early 1900s, the shells were quarried and hard packed, cut into blocks and used to construct a number of historic buildings in the nearby town of Denham.
