About this campground

Most four-wheel drivers who tackle the Holland Track between Broomehill and Coolgardie camp at scenic Victoria Rock.

John Holland, the leader of the team that blazed the Holland Track in 1893, first sighted his final destination, Bayley's Find, from the highest point of Victoria Rock.

A trail from the picnic area leads to the base of the rock. The magnificent regrowth woodland around the rock consists of salmon gum (Eucalyptus salmonophloia), gimlet (Eucalyptus salubris) and redwood (Eucalyptus transcontinentalis). Closer to the rock, thickets of rock sheoak provide an ideal spot for picnickers and campers.

Victoria Rock campground has two walk-in campsites, eight vehicle-based campsites (one of which is suitable for caravans) and one group campsite. Wood barbecues, picnic tables, toilets and an information shelter are provided. You need to bring your own drinking water and firewood.
