About this place
Mauritaus is located within a recreation zone of Ningaloo Marine Park and is suitable for fishing and swimming.
The beach can be accessed via a sandy track from the car park.
During the summer months Mauritius beach is one of the many beaches along the Jurabi Coast used by female marine turtles as a nesting ground. Female turtles can be seen coming ashore from dusk to dawn to lay her eggs. Please follow the Turtle watching code of conduct when visiting turtle nesting beaches.
Safety information
Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!

Traditional Owners
We recognise and acknowledge Baiyungu, Thalanyji and Yinigurdira people as the traditional owners of Jurabi and Bundegi Coastal Park and Ningaloo Marine Park. We are proud to be in joint management with the traditional owners to look after these special areas for future generations to enjoy.
