Site access

The tearooms/gift shop are located 40m from the accessible parking bays and the nearest accessible toilet is 55m from the accessible bays. The lighthouse is 260m from the car park via a series of paths and a 3.9m wide bitumen service road. This road is steep with a maximum gradient of 6.4 degrees.

The guided tour currently passes through a cottage with four steps. Access to the top of the lighthouse involves a further climb of 59 steps.

A 3.8km sealed walk trail starts at Cape Naturaliste and undulates gently downhill with a gradient up to 1:12. The trail has about 1km of timber boardwalk with seats along the way and no steps.

Parking

There are three accessible parking bays located about 40m from the tea rooms. Bays slope with a gradient of 1:28. Bays are 3.6m wide and 5m long.

Toilets

Toilets are available.
  • Wheelchair accessible

Unisex accessible toilets are provided at both ends of the trail. The toilets are located about 55m from the car park via a wide, bitumen walkway.
