Site access

This attraction features a wheelchair accessible boardwalk/jetty. There is a 2m wide path to the start of the boardwalk. The boardwalk is 160cm wide with edge restraints and with a 1m high railing on one side, 200m to the start of the boardwalk/jetty. The boardwalk is 220m long and the total distance from car park to end of boardwalk & return is 770m Timber (jarrah) boardwalk   The start of the boardwalk/jetty is located approximately 200m from the nearest vehicle bays and is accessed via an undulating but firm accessible path (max. gradient of 8° - mostly less than 5°)  

The maximum gradient of the path from parking area to the beach and start of the boardwalk is 8° (mostly less than 5°), while the gradient of the boardwalk is less than 1°

There is a small bench seat (seating height 60cm) located near the information plinth on the beach and a second seat at the far end of the boardwalk (seating height 44cm).

Parking

There are no designated accessible bays, however the parking area has ample space to accommodate visitors with mobility restrictions. The unsealed parking area can accommodate approximately 30 sedans/four-wheel drive, plus several tourist coaches, caravans or other long vehicles. The surface of the parking area is firm and accessible to manual wheelchairs. There is no kerbing or kerb ramps around the parking area.

No toilets at this location. Follow Leave No Trace principles.
