About this park
This park lies on the slopes of Greenmount Hill overlooking Perth. It’s one of the smaller national parks along the Darling Scarp. The natural landscape is an attractive setting for recreation and family outings. This area has significance in Aboriginal folklore and was mentioned in early European settler’s diaries. Take a bushwalk and enjoy the tranquility of the bush. There’s lots of wildlife around so keep your eyes peeled. Greenmount Lookout offers splendid views of the Swan Coastal Plain and the City of Perth.
Unpack your ropes and harnesses and get a foothold at Mountain Quarry This blue stone quarry is a popular hangout for rock climbers and walkers.
If mountain biking’s more your thing, then head over to The Goat Farm. This mountain bike park lets you practice and develop your cross-country mountain-bike skills. It may be small, but this National Park is up there for adventure sports activities, as well as walking and nature watching.
Review Perth Hills MTB park and trail lookout
A small national park by Western Australian standards however there is a good mtb park within the grounds. Also, a lookout at the end of Padbury Road, trail is suitable for mountain bike riders and hikers.
