About this park

The 4.7km Aboriginal Heritage Trail is a loop trail around the 'big eye' wetland, while the Biara Boardwalk Trail leads from the McLaughlain Road car park (on the eastern side of the lake system) to the Biara Bird Hide and then to a 130m boardwalk and into the centre of a shady paperbark forest.

Drinking water is not available so please bring your own supplies and remember to take all rubbish home with you.

Spectacles Aboriginal Heritage Trail
Bush Walk
5 kilometres

The Aboriginal Heritage Trail is a five kilometre loop walk around the northernmost wetland of the Spectacles, within the Beeliar Regional Park and located in the City of Kwinana.  Interpretation panels along the trail explain the animals, flora and lifestyle of the original Aboriginal inhabitants. There is also a bird hide and two side paths through paperbarks.

This 3.5 kilometre easy walk through the Spectacles Wetland in Beeliar Park passes through banksia, sheoak and grasstree vegetation.
