About this park
Giving the park its name, this 44,000 hectare national park features areas of wandoo eucalypt forest. Granite outcrops add character to the place. Come for a bushwalk and enjoy this scenic natural landscape. Afterwards, spread out your rug in the shaded picnic area. Relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest.
Don’t forget your camera. A highlight of this park is an animal viewing hide overlooking a winter flowing creek. During this time, you can see loads of birds among the creek-line vegetation. Bird photographers, what better place to set up your tripod! Happy snapping!
