Avoid the crowds and enjoy this long peaceful beach.

About this place

Walking distance to the Indian Ocean, parking area and four-wheel drive access to the beach. Dogs are permitted on this short section of beach only, but must remain controlled on a lead.

Safety information

Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!

  • the use of unlicensed off-road motorbikes or vehicles within Leschenault Peninsula Conservation Park is strictly forbidden. 
  • mosquito repellent is a must when visiting the Peninsula.

Dogs allowed

Dogs must be kept on a leash

No park entry fee

Entry to Leschenault Peninsula Conservation Park is free.

Site access

There is a raised boardwalk and lookout deck with nice views of the beach that can be accessed from the carpark by steps or by a long ramp. The beach itself is accessed from the lookout deck and carpark by walking a short distance over the dunes through soft sand. Four-wheel-drive vehicles can drive down onto the beach from the carpark.

Toilets

Toilets are available.

There are two unisex, universal access toilets with wide doorways that can be accessed via a ramp from the carpark.
