About this place

Step into an underground world as you explore delicate crystal formations of stalactites, stalagmites, and flowstone on a self-guided adventure lit by your own torchlight.

Take your time as you journey through the 300m cave, pausing at seating areas to soak in the tranquillity. From winter through spring, watch stream water flow into the cave and enjoy stunning reflections on top of the underground lake.

With well-maintained boardwalks, stairs, and handrails throughout, Calgardup Cave is easily accessible and welcoming for visitors of all ages.

Helmets, torches, and a friendly safety briefing are all included to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Extend your visit with a scenic 30-minute, 1km return bush walk above the cave.
