About this place

Negotiate vertical ladder climbs and rock scrambles, tight spots and gigantic chambers, natural cave floor and constructed walkways for more than half a kilometre in the 86m deep Giants Cave.

This medium-level adventure caving experience is not for everyone. Children under 6 years are not permitted. Calgardup Cave is nearby and a great alternative for all ages.

  • Helmets, torches and a briefing by friendly staff are provided.
  • Bring your own enclosed footwear.

  • Open 9.30am – 3.30pm daily

School term 1 and 4

  • Open 10am -1pm Monday to Friday
  • 9.30am – 3.30pm on weekends

School term 2 and 3

  • Open 9.30am – 3.30pm on weekends only

Getting there

Giants Cave is on Caves Road, about 2.5km south of Forest Grove Road and about 15km north of Bushby Road at Karridale.

Park boundaries are approximations only and should not be used for navigation or orientation purposes.
