About this place
Mount Burnett is an attractive bush picnic area, the perfect place to stop for a cuppa when driving along the highway. The trail takes you across a boardwalk over a creek, through marri-jarrah forest to a lookout on top of a granite outcrop. It returns to the parking area via a loop trail that passes through more jarrah forest interspersed with bull banksia and grass trees.
Safety information
Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!
