About this place

Have a picnic at the small picnic area or explore the walk trail. 

Abseiling and rock climbing must be booked in advance. Please contact the Parks and Wildlife Mundaring office on 9290 6100, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 4pm. When you have booked, a code to access the gate is provided.

Camping is not permitted.

Statham's Quarry Walk
Bush Walk
5.9 kilometres

A 5.9km loop walk through Gooseberry Hill National Park, with spectacular views of the Darling Scarp and the Swan Coastal Plain. A fairly strenuous walk with a few loose stony sections, this interesting walk takes in the old abandoned Statham’s Quarry and the disused Zig Zag Railway.
