About this campground
Wallaroo Conservation Park is a 1214ha reserve with the main attraction being a large granite outcrop surrounded by acacia drainage lines and mulga woodlands.
Wallaroo Rock has significant Aboriginal history and it was once a water point for the woodlines in the 1920s. There are three dams on the southern side of the rock and extensive granite catchment walls over the rock. The dams are a semi-permanent water source. Visitors will enjoy exploring the area and viewing native vegetation, catchment walls and historical paraphernalia.
