Waychinicup Inlet Camping Area

We recognise and acknowledge Menang people as the Traditional Owners of Waychinicup National Park.

The inlet of Waychinicup Camping Area has a river with polished granite rocks on both sides, transforming an ordinary stream into a stunning landscape.

About this campground

The camping area is not suitable for caravans as there is limited room. There are no campfires allowed, or solid fuel appliances (including stoves, barbeques and heaters) at any time.

Facilities include a long-drop sealed vault toilet and picnic facilities. There is no fresh water supplied - please bring your own.

Campers´ own liquid or gas fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared and bookings cannot be made.

Non-bookable campgrounds operate on a first come, first served basis. Be aware that this campground may get busy, especially during weekends and holidays. Identify alternative accommodation in case there are no campsites available when you arrive.

Getting there

The entry road to the Waychinicup Inlet Camping Area is suitable for two-wheel drive vehicles, but can become flooded. Access is only suitable for four-wheel drive when flooding occurs.

Park boundaries are approximations only and should not be used for navigation or orientation purposes.
