Experience the breathtaking beauty of Purnululu National Park like never before with our free, no-booking-required VR experience! Ask our Purnululu Visitor Center (VC) staff for a VR headset and embark on a virtual tour that offers a unique perspective of this stunning UNESCO World Heritage site. This experience has been designed to make Purnululu's natural wonders even more accessible, especially to those who may not be able to undertake some of the walks or are short on time.

The virtual tour guides you through some of Purnululu’s most spectacular attractions:

  • The Domes – where you can marvel at the unique beehive-shaped formations that have made Purnululu so recognisable.
  • Cathedral Gorge - explore this awe-inspiring natural amphitheatre.
  • Echidna Chasm - witness the chasm glowing in the sunlight and,
  • Piccaninny Creek to Whipsnake Gorge - follow the scenic route as if you are actually there.

Throughout the tour you'll hear informative commentary and you can select various ‘hotspots’ to learn more about points of interest such as ancient creek beds, termite mounds, the formation of the ‘window,’ and the diverse flora and fauna. Before you go, check the Purnululu Visitor Centre page for opening times.
