Explore national parks and get Every Kid in a Park
Connecting kids with natural spaces.
We have partnered with Nature Play WA to connect kids to the amazing outdoors.
Every Kid in a Park (EKIP) is a project to support families with children of all abilities to get outdoors and enjoy nature. They have developed Park of the Month resources for parks such as Yanchep, D'Entrecasteaux, Walpole-Nornalup national parks and many more. Each Park of the Month has all the information you need to plan a visit including extra family resources, such as an accessible nature guide or social story, to download or print.
Download the Every Kid in a Park activity booklet and take it with you whenever you visit a national park to get a closer look at nature, feel more connected to the environment and record the awesome things you see.
On the EKIP website, there are also activity sheets, five best things to see or do, ranger special tips and much more.
Even better, you can take everything with you in your pocket by downloading the Every Kid in a Park phone app. The app provides all the great resources and is designed in an accessible format using audio and image descriptions. There are also virtual tours, audio guides and interactive maps highlighting the points of interest in each park.
Go on – get outdoors and enjoy nature.
You can find all the Every Kid in a Park resources online at Nature Play WA , download the app for Apple or Android or view it online here.
