The Millstream Homestead was built 100 years ago right next to the Millstream wetlands. Over the years it has served as a home to sheep and cattle station managers, generations of families, converted to a tavern and has been a home to national park rangers.

The Homestead took 9 months to build and was unique for its time. It was made from reinforced concrete and the sand and gravel used was from the land on which it was built.

The Millstream Homestead will soon have displays featuring its fascinating history and it is definitely worth visiting on your trip to the Pilbara.

The best time to visit Millstream Chichester National Park is between May and August and camping is available at Miliyanha campground.
