Sixty Foot Falls

Bush Walk
2.1 kilometres

This walk is a short but steep climb to the top of the spectacular Sixty Foot Falls, affording magnificent views of the City and the valley along the way, before descending past the old Barrington Quarry where old workings provide a window into the geology of the area.

Contour Channel Walk

Bush Walk
7 kilometres

Built in the 1930's, the Contour Channel in Banyowla Regional Park was created to carry water from Canning Dam to the metro area. The trail is mostly flat following the contour of the hills, however there are two steep sections where the channel was siphoned in to pipes to convey the water to the other side of the valley. The trail offers great views, an abundance of wildflowers during the months of August to November and an insight into some interesting local history.
