The Perth Hills flow from the lush Avon Valley to the beauty of the Lane Poole Reserve and is the start of the green belt that surrounds Perth metropolis. Both the Bibbulmun Track and Munda Biddi Trail start here.

The parks remain open throughout the year but, it can be extremely hot from November to April and this is bushfire season: campfires are not permitted; parks, roads and recreation areas may have to be temporarily closed and events cancelled without notice.
