About this park
Come for a day trip or camp a few days in the Hoffman State Forest (official name Dwellingup State Forest), an extensive area of previously logged jarrah/marri forest between Harvey and Waroona.
Logue Brook Dam, also known as Lake Brockman, is a great spot for swimming, paddling and water skiing, and picnicking and camping in the forest by the lake's shores.
The area is steeped in settler history. The remnants of the mill and railway formations at Hoffman Mill are reminders of our recent past. They complement the attractions of the jarrah forest and the Harvey River, which is the essence of the Hoffman recreation area.
Campers are welcome at Hoffman Mill between November 1 and Easter. Camping is possible year round at Logue Brook Dam, and there are also cabin and glamping accommodation options near the dam at Lake Brockman Tourist Park.
