Rocky Pool Walk

Rocky Pool Walk is a 5km loop in the Kalamunda National Park visiting the picturesque Rocky Pool, with beautiful seasonal wildflowers and abundant wildlife. It includes a section of the Bibbulmun Track and has some difficult, steep loose descents, making this a challenging, rewarding bush walk with spectacular valley views.

Schipp Road Walk

A picturesque 4km loop walk following Piesse Brook as it flows and cascades through Kalamunda National Park. The trail takes in a scenic section of the Bibbulmun Track, offering spectacular views of the Valley. There are several steep uphill climbs and loose descents, making this trail a fun, challenging experience.

Scorpion Trail

The 2km Scorpion descent is a favourite in the Kalamunda Mountain Bike Trails. It is known for its large berms made from wooden railway sleepers with the odd jump and log ride. Something different from most other trails in WA.

Shake Rattle and Roll skills loop

Slippery when dry

Tangaroo Kick

Three Bears

Bears are big. Not cute and cuddly. These three are three large tabletops with a good line of sight. Line them up and let it go as you blast towards Mercury Street or Luving Shovels.

Up Up and Away

Steady climb from the Farrell Grove car park and picnic area to the top of Scorpion Trail. Not as steep and tight as Lube Me Up.

X-Files

A short connector from the fire trail to FJs. Climbing with some corners chucked in to keep you honest.

Black Stump Pump Track

Camakazi

A real favourite for those who just like to ride trails. Definitely one way with lots of fast traffic heading east with berm after berm, some small jumps and a few rocks to keep it interesting.

Camel Train

One of the few dual directional trails in the network. A good leg warm up if you’ve started from the Camel Farm and are heading over to Flaccid Ashback or a last hurrah making a quick dash back to the car.

Drago

Softer than Rocky, this climb ducks and weaves and avoids any of Rockys punches. The mellower way to get to the top.

Dugite

A snaking trail with one small jump and lots of fast corners.

Feral Groove

The final and only descent to Farrel Grove carpark. Some big wooden berms and jumps that get bigger as you get faster!

FJ

Flaccid Ashback

Flaccid Ashback is a 2.4km downhill flow green trail, in the Kalamunda Mountain Bike Network. This trail snakes in between the Munda Biddi and Mundaring Weir Road.

Goldilocks

With more twists and turns than Goldilocks hair this feels like a mini downhill run with berms, rocks and jumps before the junction to Muffin Tops or Three Bears.

Gottysnobble

Heading back towards the Black Stump car park. Gottysnobble is a twisty little track with flat corners.

Gridlocked

A twisty climb up through the pines which takes you gradually to the Dell. So gentle that it doesn’t even feel like a hill.

Hill Street Walk

An easy 2.4 kilometre loop walk through native reserve bushland in the Kalamunda National Park, winding through jarrah and redgum forest dotted with balga. With thriving birdlife and glimpses of the Piesse Valley , this is a peaceful, comfortable walk suitable for all ages.

Horny Devil

This trail strikes the almost perfect balance of flow and rewards for correct line selection. Not too tight and twisty, not too open. You wind up speed before exiting with a big grin.

This section of trail named after Canadian trail builder Joey Klein who ran a tail workshop here. A tricky rocky climb to get the legs warmed up.

Jorgensen Park Walk Trail

Jorgensen Park is located on the southern border of Kalamunda National Park and contains toilet and picnic facilities, including barbeques. This 2.7km loop trail is easy to navigate and is located on the old unused Kalamunda Golf Course, offering lots of history, stunning valley views and hidden gems.

Lost and Found

This climb takes you from Metasoma all the way to the very top of the hill and the start of Scorpion trail and onto Ferral Grove.

Mother-in-Law

Despite how hard you try, it’s always hard work. The final push to the top of Mt Gunjin. Unlike the trails of old this one twists and turns a lot to back off the gradient to try and make it as pleasant as possible.

Muffin Tops

The fastest downhill blast around. Take your hands off the brakes and enjoy the ride. There are several table top jumps to add to the fun!
