About this place
The Boranup Forest, and a few other areas around Augusta and Margaret River, is the westernmost place that the Karri trees grow. The forest is particularly picturesque in the golden light of late afternoon. In spring white clematis, purple hovea, yellow hibbertia, and coral creepers add vivid colours to the cool green of the forest.
Safety information
Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!
