About this place
Deep Reach Pool (Nhanggangunha) is a large, permanent body of water maintained by the aquifer beneath the park. It is home to the Warlu serpent of Yinjibarndi people. At Deep Reach it is a 300m return walk to the canoe launch and viewing deck.
Trailside signs interpret features. Disabled access toilets, gas barbecues, shaded picnic tables are provided. Access to the river for swimming and canoeing.
Safety information
Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!
Water is very deep. Supervise children closely.
