About this place
The Murray Valley mountain bike trails are part of the Dwellingup Adventure Trails network, which includes walk, cycle, drive and canoe experiences. The icon for this extensive and exciting network is the karrak, also known as the forest red-tailed black cockatoo. Its large size, striking red tail feathers, loud ‘karraaaaak’ calls and noisy eating habits make this uniquely West Australian cockatoo easy to spot in the forests around Dwellingup and Lane Poole.
Whatever your riding skills are, we have trails for you. Chose from trail classes which are colour coded - green is recommended for beginners, blue are for intermediate riders with some technical skills and black are the difficult trails for experienced riders with good technical skills. There are even trails marked for adaptive use.
The pump track next to the Dwellingup Trails and Visitor Centre has three levels of difficulty and is perfect for the whole family. While you're there be sure to stop into the visitor centre for interactive trail maps, road and trail conditions, toilet, shower, laundromat and locker facilities for trail walkers, riders and visitors.
