Moondine Drive

We recognise and acknowledge Whadjuk people as the Traditional Owners of Herdsman Lake Regional Park.

Park the car and explore the lake on walk trails and shared paths that wind through open grassed areas and scattered mature trees.

About this place

The parking area is located at the southern end of Moondine Drive. Please bring your own water as none is available. Dogs on leads are welcome.

Bushwalking

Plants, wildlife and fungi

Visit the Atlas of Living Australia for a list of species recorded within a 5km radius of Moondine Drive.

Traditional Owners

This park has a rich history and cultural heritage. Local Noongar and Yellagonga Aboriginal people used the area as a source of food. 

We recognise and acknowledge Whadjuk people as the traditional owners of Herdsman Lake Regional Park.
