About this place
Many of the walking and cycle trails in the area either start from or pass close by the Perth Hills Discovery Centre. You may even spot a friendly kangaroo, one of the many native animals that can be seen around the centre. Book a campsite and stay for the night.
The historic Mundaring Weir is a short drive, or half-hour walk south along the famous Bibbulmun Track, or you may like to hike the Bibbulmun Track north to the Ball Creek Hut for lunch.
