Pilgramunna offers a scenic seaside experience situated near the mouth of a creek system and nestled behind sand dunes giving some protection from the prevailing south westerly winds.
Fish from the beach or take a stroll south along the white sandy shore.
Boat launching is possible from the beach – tide dependent. May not be suitable for larger vessels.

Plan when to visit. Consider travelling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life!
- Be aware Pilgramunna can experience large swells and strong currents, always assess the conditions before entering the water. Snorkelling should not be attempted if there are waves breaking or turbulent water in front of the rock ledges.
- It is your responsibility to ensure you have the required level of experience when entering the water.
- Please be very aware of any boats within the lagoon area or that may launch from the small bay.
- Pilgramunna may be subject to flooding after heavy rain or during seasonal king tides.
- Be mindful when leaving parked vehicles.
Western Shield - The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions undertakes 1080 baiting at this location to reduce the impacts of feral cats and foxes on native wildlife.
Meat baits containing 1080 poison are laid in or around this area on an ongoing basis. 1080 is poisonous to humans and will kill domestic cats and dogs. Pets are not permitted in this park.
