South Perth

About this place

South Perth foreshore has some of the best views along the Swan River. It's a great spot especially for families who love to cycle, walk, picnic, barbecue and more. There are a couple of restaurants along the foreshore at Mends Street Jetty and Coode Street. Catch the ferry at Mends Street Jetty to visit Perth city, only a short 10 minute ferry trip away. The foreshore is also home to sailing and paddleboard businesses.

The South Perth foreshore has remnant native vegetation of melaleuca and eucalyptus. These remnant native vegetation areas provide important habitats for local native animals including frogs, lizards and birds.

This area is managed by the City of South Perth.
