About this place

The maximum depth around Wanneroo Reef is six metres, with the flat reef top being exposed. If there are onshore winds, start on the eastern side, beginning at the north-eastern lump. Marine life is similar to the main reef, with a variety of anemones and gorgonian corals. The best diving is on the eastern side of the main reef, especially at the north-eastern end, where some spectacular caverns can be found. This area provides a diverse array of marine life.
