Gloucester Lodge Picnic Area
Named after Duke of Gloucester, who stayed here in 1934, the lodge is independently operated as a recreation camp. You can use the picnic and barbecue area at the front of the lodge.
Hillarys Boat Harbour marina has a range of shops and food outlets, as well as fishing and diving supplies, public boat launching areas and you can book a whale watching tour.
The Kalgoorlie Arboretum, not far from the town centre, provides a wide variety of native flora, walktrails for all ages and picnic tables in a grassed area under the shade of red gums and a small dam which attracts water birds.
