About this place
Explore two trails, one that leads to Aboriginal engravings and starts near Ooramboo, a campsite for the Wajarri stockmen families working on the cattle station in the mid to late twentieth century. Edney's Trail leads to the lookout, a peak on the southern end of Mount Augustus visible from the tourist park. The lookout has elevated views over vast pastoral and conservation lands. This is an ideal alternative for those seeking impressive views without taking the more strenuous Summit Trail.
