Perrys Paddock

We recognise and acknowledge Aboriginal people as the traditional owners of Yellagonga Regional Park.

This open area was originally used for horse racing in the 1920’s. There are many walking and cycling paths around the park.

About this place

Perry's Paddock is named after John (Jack) Perry who bred racehorses and held race meets on his property at the site. The ruins that are still visible are the remains of his old stables and homestead. Part of the Yellagonga Regional Park, there are many walking and cycle paths that are open all year round.
