Attractive beach camping area with few facilities but popular with fishing enthusiasts.

About this campground

Campers need to be self reliant at South Gregories, as facilities are basic. There is no drinking water so ensure you bring enough for your stay.

Fishing is popular and whiting, bream and kingfish can all be caught in the area. Dinghies can be launched from the beach with care.

Safety information

Plan when to visit. Consider traveling with a personal location beacon (PLB). In the event you need to be rescued it could save your life! 

Western Shield - The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions undertakes 1080 baiting at this location to reduce the impacts of feral cats and foxes on native wildlife. 

Meat baits containing 1080 poison are laid in or around this area on an ongoing basis. 1080 is poisonous to humans and will kill domestic cats and dogs. Pets are not permitted in this park.

Non-bookable campgrounds operate on a first come, first served basis. Be aware that this campground may get busy, especially during weekends and holidays. Identify alternative accommodation in case there are no campsites available when you arrive.
