Wellington Dam Lookout

We recognise and acknowledge Aboriginal people as the traditional owners of Wellington National Park.

The best spot to view the amazing mural painted on the dam wall.

About this place

There are special views from many places in the Wellington Dam precinct but the Water Corporation's Dam Lookout gives you the impression that you are suspended over the valley. It provides particularly spectacular views over the dam wall and Collie River valley. The lookout is a short stroll from the Kiosk at the Dam where there is ample parking.

Painted by artist Guido Van Helten, the dam wall mural is believed to be the world's largest. The artwork is called 'Reflections' and is inspired by local stories and photos.
