Eagle Gorge

Site access

The lookout can be reached by a 160m accessible path from the parking area. No kerbs or ramps occur but there are some minor inclines. 

A picnic table is situated part way along the path to the lookout and is wheelchair accessible (on one end only), with a table height of 76cm.  

A winding trail to the beach starts near the Eagle Gorge lookout and is clearly signposted. The distance from the nearest vehicle bay to the lookout is 160m (320m return). This path is wheelchair accessible with gradients ranging from level to a maximum of 3.

 

 

Parking

There are no designated, accessible parking bays. There is a 75m long collector path (1.5m wide with gradients less than 2) around the perimeter of the parking area. The parking area is set back from the cliff edge but offers some limited coastal views.

There are no kerbs, or kerb ramps around the parking area.

Toilets

No toilets at this location. Follow Leave No Trace principles.

The nearest accessible toilet is located about 9kms away at the Natural Bridge.

No toilet facilities at this site.
