Site access

The path leading from the parking area towards the coast and the Mushroom Rock – Rainbow Valley Loop Trail is not wheelchair accessible. There are erosion gullies and some exposed rock. This track is rated as a Class 4 and requires a moderate to high level of fitness to negotiate.

Parking

The unsealed parking area has 12 bays plus 1 long vehicle bay. There are no designated accessible bays.

The Rainbow Valley parking area offers views along the coast and north towards the town of Kalbarri. It's set back from the coast, so views are restricted. There are better coastal vantage points at other sites.

The surface condition of the parking area and walk track is eroded.

Toilets

No toilets at this location. Follow Leave No Trace principles.
