Entry fees apply at a number of the most popular parks in Western Australia. They cover vehicle entry to one or more parks on the same day so you can visit more than one park on the same day and pay just one entry fee*.
The fee should be paid when you arrive at the park. Instructions for payment will be available at the park entrance.
- Entry fees do not apply if you walk or cycle into a park.
- If you have a valid park pass, you do not need to pay park entry fees.
- You can upgrade to any one of the annual park passes or holiday passes by taking a Day Entry Pass or park entry fee receipt to a Parks and Wildlife Service office within seven days of the purchase. The value of the entry fee will be deducted from the cost of the pass.
*There is one exception. If you enter Yanchep National Park or Nambung National Park, in a private vehicle with 13 or more occupants, an entry fee should be paid at each of these parks.
See the table below for the current standard park entry fees. These apply to almost all national parks in Western Australia with only a few exceptions.
The parks with a different fee structure are:
- Monkey Mia Conservation Park: has a separate daily entry fee. Entry passes purchased from other parks do not apply. Visit the Shark Bay website for details.
- Prince Regent National Park: entry is covered by the Dambimangari Visitor Pass. Visit the Dambimangari website for details.
- Mitchell River National Park: entry is covered by the Uunguu Visitor Pass. Visit the Wunambal Gaamber Country website for details.
