Tagon Coastal Trail is a 14 kilometre return moderately difficult walk in Cape Arid National Park. The Tagon Coastal Trail winds through coastal heath and across rocky headlands, providing excellent vantage points for whale watching.

The Tall Gum Short Walk in Golden Valley Tree Park, Balingup, celebrates the majesty of Australia’s tall eucalypt trees. Living up to its name, this trail is the shortest and easiest to negotiate at only 650 metres. Many of these trees were planted in 1987, but even so they are already reaching impressive heights.

The moderately challenging, Class 3 Temple Gorge Trail is located near the campground in the Kennedy Range NP. This 2km return trail follows a dry creek bed to a sandstone rockface known as the Temple.

Ten Mile Brook Trail is a pleasant walk or cycle out to Ten Mile Brook Dam, named after the tiny brook that was dammed in the mid-1990s to create a new supply of water for the quickly growing Margaret River and other townships.

The Domes walk is only 700 metres return and packed with the famous ‘beehive’ domes. The trail is ideal for people who are not into hiking but want to get an insight into this unique landscape. The Bungle Bungle range is around 360 million years old.

This walk is a short but steep climb to the top of the spectacular Sixty Foot Falls, affording magnificent views of the City and the valley along the way, before descending past the old Barrington Quarry where old workings provide a window into the geology of the area.

Explore the northern side of Woody Island on a peaceful walk to Skinny Dip Bay. This 1.5km return, moderately difficult walk will take you to a small, rocky but sheltered bay.  The trail starts in the playground and leads over the hill past the telephone tower.  Look out for the kangaroos.

The Aboriginal Heritage Trail is a five kilometre loop walk around the northernmost wetland of the Spectacles, within the Beeliar Regional Park and located in the City of Kwinana.  Interpretation panels along the trail explain the animals, flora and lifestyle of the original Aboriginal inhabitants. There is also a bird hide and two side paths through paperbarks.

This 3.5 kilometre easy walk through the Spectacles Wetland in Beeliar Park passes through banksia, sheoak and grasstree vegetation.

Stacey’s Loop is an moderate 1.9km loop trail that winds through beautiful jarrah forest and over several bridges that cross Gooralong Brook, located within Serpentine National Park.

A 5.9km loop walk through Gooseberry Hill National Park, with spectacular views of the Darling Scarp and the Swan Coastal Plain. A fairly strenuous walk with a few loose stony sections, this interesting walk takes in the old abandoned Statham’s Quarry and the disused Zig Zag Railway.

At the base of Shark Bay’s Peron Peninsula is a scattering of historic sheep station buildings that have stood the test of time in a harsh environment.  This short flat and easy 240metre walk trail shows the visitor, through interpretive signage, what station life was like.

This easy 1.3 kilometre return trail in Stockyard Gully takes you along a sandy gully and into a cool and refreshing tunnel carved into limestone. The tunnel itself is big enough to stand within and walk through.

The 6.4km return Stokes Heritage Trail is in Stokes National Park, 80km west of Esperance. The trail has beautiful vistas overlooking Stokes Inlet. Walkers will also see and learn about the ancient Zamias.

Stony Hill is a delightful 500 metre fairly level circular walk which offers spectacular 360 degree views of Torndirrup National Park. There are great views of Peak Head and the Southern Ocean.

This 18.4km return walk on the Bibbulmun Track takes you to the highest point in the Darling Range, Mt Cooke.  A campsite (for walkers only - no vehicle access) is at the base of Mt Cooke so this is also a good option for an overnight walk.

The very difficult 12.5km Summit Trail located in Mount Augustus National Park takes walkers to the top of the biggest ‘rock’ in the world. Only very fit and experienced bushwalkers should attempt this full day very difficult hike. Expect a very steep unformed trail with rock scrambling. The trail ascends over 650m to the summit that offers extensive views of the surrounding plain and distant ranges.
