The moderately difficult Kitty’s Gorge walk trail is located in Serpentine NP. The trail is 7km each way or 14 km return and can be accessed from either end. There are some steep sections with loose stones, uneven and slippery ground.

This easy 15 minute return walk takes you to the truly spectacular Knox Gorge Lookout.  Sunset or sunrise is a great time to view this awesome landscape.

Kotka Gorge Trail is a 2.7km return hike which continues on from the edge of the shady Gum Grove Trail to the gorge entrance that provides views of the east. The rough unformed trail involves steep rises and scrambling over rocks.

This marked walk trail starts from the Kurrajong campground at the northern end of the park. This short 1.1km return trail gives you an idea of the different vegetation types in the Park.

The Kangaroo Trail is a moderate four kilometre loop trail in Walyunga National Park which crosses creeks among granite boulders, wandoo and marri. There are some short rocky ascents and descents, with good views across to the opposite side of the river.

This path leads you to the edge of the valley.  It offers views across the bubbling Eastbrook below.  It offers views across the Gloucester National Park.

Jorgensen Park is located on the southern border of Kalamunda National Park and contains toilet and picnic facilities, including barbeques. This 2.7km loop trail is easy to navigate and is located on the old unused Kalamunda Golf Course, offering lots of history, stunning valley views and hidden gems.

Nestled on the banks of the eastern side of the Murray River, Island Pool is a pretty spot to spend a day. The Island Pool walk trail starts from the top car park and is a one-hour loop through scenic jarrah forest and provides excellent views of the valley and the river below.

This two kilometre moderately difficult loop trail winds through a mix of coastal shrublands and stands of tall trees with stunning views to the mainland and other islands in the Recherche Archipelago.

The Jabitj Trail, meaning running water in the Noongar language,  is a 12 kilometre return trail that follows the Collie River between Wellington Dam and Honeymoon Pool in Wellington National Park.  It offers delightful views of the rapids and pools along the way.

Jenna Biddi Yorga “women’s feet walking on the path”, in Whadjuk Noongar. We invite both women and men to walk this path, however we ask all the men who do so to respectfully acknowledge Jennalup (Blackwall Reach) as a women’s area in the past, and encourage the men to continue this acknowledgement into the future.

Hill Springs walk is a 500m return walk to the ruins of the historic Hill Springs. The views from the lookout over the Recherche Archipelago and behind to Mt Arid are spectacular.

An easy 2.4 kilometre loop walk through native reserve bushland in the Kalamunda National Park, winding through jarrah and redgum forest dotted with balga. With thriving birdlife and glimpses of the Piesse Valley , this is a peaceful, comfortable walk suitable for all ages.

The Hill View Walk only takes about 45 minutes to walk at a leisurely pace, and takes in lovely views and a great variety of different vegetation in the Australian Collection section of the Golden Valley Tree Park.

The Honey Hakea Track is a Grade 3, 4.6km return trail following the same path as the Mt Bruce Summit Trail, in the Karijini National Park. The trail provides views down into the Marandoo iron ore mining operations and stunning views of the surrounding Hamersley Ranges.

Honeycomb Gorge Trail is a 600 metre trail in the Kennedy Range NP. The trail is a culturally significant site. Yinggarda Traditional Owners respectfully ask that you refrain from taking photos and not touching the sacred wall. Please only take memories.

The 1.5km return Handrail Pool trail in Weano Gorge starts as a fairly easy walk but becomes quite challenging with climbing involved to get down into Handrail Pool including steep cliffs and narrow walking passages.  Be prepared to get wet and see Australia’s beauty at its best.

Harewood Walk Trail 1.2 kilometres return walk through a tranquil area, including scents of eucalyptus, the sound of birds, and magnificent Karri trees.  Informative signs along the way interpret Denmark’s history as well as the flora within the area.
