Marvel at the sheer scale and fascinating ancient geology of Mount Augustus (Burringurrah) on this 45km 2WD friendly loop trail, which allows access to all places within the park including Aboriginal rock engravings (petroglyphs), gorges and open plains. 

This 12 km one-way gravel road loops in an anticlockwise direction, through magnificent karri forest from Old Vasse Road down to the Warren River at Heartbreak Crossing. Please note, Google directions will send you the wrong way, please follow signage and follow the one-way loop in an anticlockwise direction from Old Vasse Road. 

Great Forest Trees Drive is a self-guided, 50 kilometre drive that winds its way through spectacular old-growth karri, jarrah and marri forest in Shannon National Park .  There are several stops along the way where you can stretch your legs, have a picnic or just enjoy the views.

The Golden Pipeline Heritage Trail takes you to WA’s Eastern Goldfields, rich in gold, history and scenery, revealing the story of a unique engineering feat. Travel on the old Goldfields Road along which fortune seekers rushed in the 1890s.

The Porongurup Range National Park is renowned for its giant Karri trees and ancient granite rocks. The varied bush walks dotted throughout the Porongurup Range will appeal to all levels of hikers throughout the year, while the Sky Walk at Castle Rock, with its breathtakingly beautiful panoramic views is a ‘must-see’.

This 23km drive through Dryandra Woodland provides five pull over bays with interpretive information revealing the interdependence of natural systems.  Take along a picnic lunch or take a short walk to search for orchids near the granite outcrop at stop five.

The 35 km Collie Mural Trail is a mixture of country driving and an urban walk. Consisting of 40 stunning murals, the trail stretches from Wellington NP, with the breath-taking 8000 sqm Wellington Dam Mural, ‘Reflections’ as the centre piece to the centre of town.

The Western Australian Distillery Trail is a 4500km drive trail, stretching all the way from Esperance on the south coast to Kununurra in the far north of WA. Featuring 15 small batch distilleries, each with its own distinctive character and style, the trail passes through Albany, Margaret River, Swan Valley and Broome. Meet the makers and go behind the scenes to view the distillation process. Taste, touch, smell and hear the stories behind their unique flavours.

Shark Bay is the most western point of the coast of Australia and is made up of two peninsulas jutting out into the Indian Ocean. The 160 kilometre Shark Bay World Heritage Drive runs between the Overlander Roadhouse on the NW Coastal Hwy to Monkey Mia, where a pod of dolphins have made their home and freely interact with visitors.    

The Pioneers’ Pathway is a self-drive route that traverses the Wheatbelt between Toodyay and Merredin following the well worn trail early prospectors travelled to the Yilgarn, Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie Goldfields. Wander past expansive farmland and nature reserves through the small towns of Goomalling, Dowerin, Wyalkatchem, Trayning and Nungarin.
