About this park
You don't have to go far to enjoy the white sandy beaches and crystal clear waters as the Ningaloo Marine Park is right here. The beaches are perfect for snorkelling, swimming, surfing, boating, fishing and spotting marine life!
Take a step back from the beaches and you'll find acacia and spinifex grasslands - keep an eye out for kangaroos, emus, echidnas and birds of prey.
What makes this place extra special are the sea turtles. Three of the world's seven species of turtle can be seen here - green, loggerhead and hawksbill turtle. Over the summer months, turtles can be seen mating in the shallows or coming to shore to nest. You can join one of the Jurabi Turtle Centre Eco-education tours for your best chance of seeing a female turtle lay her eggs.
