Gloucester Tree Walk

This six kilometre return walk takes you from Pemberton town site to the Gloucester Tree or visa versa.  The Gloucester tree is the world’s tallest climbable tree - and the view from the top is amazing!

Giant Tingle Tree to Coalmine Beach

This Bibbulmun Track day walk from the Giant Tingle Tree to Coalmine Beach is 6.1 km one way or 12.2 km return. The walk is in the Walpole Wilderness area, which boasts some of Western Australia’s most spectacular landscapes, coasts, habitats and vegetation.

Gibb River Road

The legendary Gibb River Road, is an icon of outback adventure through the heart of the Kimberley in Western Australia’s north west. The 660 kilometre dirt track passes through remote station country with magnificent scenery and plenty of opportunities to get out of your vehicle to discover one of the many fresh water gorges.

Gerliwany-gerring Banan Trail

Just on the outskirts of Kununurra is a rugged series of ranges in Mirima National Park. One of the best ways to get a feel of the place, is on this 2 kilometre return walk through Savannah woodland. It’s a great trail for seeing abundant wildlife in the area.

Ghost House Walk Trail

The 12.4km loop Ghost House Walk Trail will take most of the day to complete, so make sure you have plenty of water your lunch and snacks. It takes you on a journey to discover the natural and cultural history of the wilderness areas in Yanchep National Park, an hour north of Perth.  Along the way you will encounter the sights and sounds of the pristine wetlands and discover the historic remains of the ‘Ghost House’.

Gathercole Reserve Walk Trail

Gathercole Reserve Walk Trail is a moderately easy, 3.1 kilometre trail through the Gathercole Reserve and over a large granite outcrop, near the wheatbelt town of Wongan Hills. The trail is clearly marked with a variety of natural surfaces and some short steep sections.

Frenchman Peak Walktrail

Located in Cape Le Grand National Park, a walk to the summit up the east slope of Frenchman Peak is rewarded with spectacular views over the park of the southern coastline and islands in the Recherche Archipelago.

Flaccid Ashback

Flaccid Ashback is a 2.4km downhill flow green trail, in the Kalamunda Mountain Bike Network. This trail snakes in between the Munda Biddi and Mundaring Weir Road.

Flavours of the Porongurup Range Trail

The Porongurup Range National Park is renowned for its giant Karri trees and ancient granite rocks. The varied bush walks dotted throughout the Porongurup Range will appeal to all levels of hikers throughout the year, while the Sky Walk at Castle Rock, with its breathtakingly beautiful panoramic views is a ‘must-see’.

Flintstone Rock Trail

Flintstone Rock is an Aboriginal cultural site that takes about 30 minutes to explore including stops. The 650m return walk follows along a water-smoothed rocky creek bed.

This is cross country riding. Kinda flat, except for the bits going downhill and the bits going uphill! Good fun and a workout.

Feral Groove

The final and only descent to Farrel Grove carpark. Some big wooden berms and jumps that get bigger as you get faster!

Fire Tower Walk

This short walk meanders around East Contine Hill, a laterite breakaway that was the ideal site for the lookout towers used during the summer fire season.  These towers were staffed during the summer fire season by forestry workers and their wives who were known as “spotters”.

Escarpment Base Trail

For a great overall impression of the geographical marvel that is the Kennedy Ranges, you can do no better than walk the 5.8 kilometre return Escarpment Base Trail.  There is interesting geology as well as sandalwood (Santalum spicatum) to observe between Temple Gorge Campground and Honeycomb Gorge Trail. A lookout area is a feature of the section between Honeycomb Gorge and Sunrise View trails.

Escarpment Trail

You can start this 3.4 kilometre trail either from the Draper Gorge car park or Temple Gorge campground. If you are capable of going up and down steep sections, getting to the top of the escarpment is well worth the considerable effort as you will be rewarded with panoramic views.

Dwerta Mia Walk Trail

This short, one kilometre family-friendly walk is just perfect to introduce your kids to nature. Featuring interpretative signage, visiting ‘Dwerta Mia’ - the ‘house of the wild dog’ - will give you a unique experience of Australia through the eyes of Aboriginal culture as well as a better understanding of how the limestone environment has formed over hundreds of thousands of years.
