Just on the outskirts of Kununurra is a rugged series of ranges in Mirima National Park. This is a short sharp trail taking about 20 minutes to complete. Most people take a bit longer to admire the view overlooking Kununurra.

A 17.5 kilometre loop walk through the coastal plain vegetation of Yanchep National Park.  It passes through Ridge’s campsite from the Coastal Plain Trail and in spring offers a carpet of wildflowers.  Kangaroos, the black gloved wallaby and quenda, along with Carnaby’s black cockatoos, may be spotted.

Cockburn Lookout Trail is one of several excellent walks, best undertaken near sunrise or late afternoon. The 1.8km loop walk starts near the front gate at Home Valley Station’s tourist resort accommodation. The trail offers great views of the Cockburn Ranges and the meteorite crater.

The 35 km Collie Mural Trail is a mixture of country driving and an urban walk. Consisting of 40 stunning murals, the trail stretches from Wellington NP, with the breath-taking 8000 sqm Wellington Dam Mural, ‘Reflections’ as the centre piece to the centre of town.

This short and easy trail in the Dryandra woodland follows the old Pinjarra to Narrogin railway line that was constructed in 1925 and known as the Hotham Valley Branch (Dwarda line).

A spectacular walk along coastal cliffs with outstanding and far reaching views east and west along the south coast.  This Bibbulmun Track day walk from Conspicuous Beach to Rame Head Campsite is 6.6km return.

Just 25 meters from the shore, the Coogee Maritime dive and snorkel trail begins at the Omeo shipwreck and includes an artificial reef and underwater sculptures - including a giant starfish you can swim through! The trail is easily accessed from the northern end of Coogee Beach via the beach access path from Perlinte View.

Coral Bay Kayak Trail is one of four trails in the Ningaloo Marine Park with designated buoys for kayaks to tie off on while snorkelling the reef. Each buoy is located near a particular feature of the reef system. There are four sites on the Coral Bay Trail to visit, ranging in distance from 300 metres to 1.8km from the shore. All of the sites are located in the Maud Sanctuary Zone.

The 4.7 km (return) Castle Rock Trail in Porongurup NP starts at the Castle Rock picnic area and climbs through jarrah, marri and karri forest, past the fascinating Balancing Rock to the base of Castle Rock and the lower lookout.

Cathedral Gorge's astonishing natural amphitheatre of red rock hidden within the unusual bee hive striped formations is just one of the many fascinating geological landmarks within the Bungle Bungle range that made Purnululu National Park become a World Heritage site. This moderately difficult 2km return trail is not one to be missed.

The moderately difficult Chichester Range Camel Trail is located in the Millstream-Chichester NP and follows part of the old camel trail. The trail is 8 km long and can be accessed from both ends or 16km return. Expect some steep slopes, natural obstacles and loose rocks.

The Chuditch Walk Trail in Lane Poole Reserve is a 7 kilometre semi-loop starting from Nanga Mill campground to Chuditch campground (or reverse).  It starts and finishes by the beautiful Murray River.

This easy six kilometre return trail runs from Walpole Nornalup Visitor Centre to the Coalmine Beach Caravan Park on the scenic Nornalup Inlet. It traverses interesting swampland, with much of the walk on boardwalk.

This three day, 52 kilometre walk between Yanchep National Park and Neaves Road, in the Melaleuca Conservation Park, traverses the National Park as well as the inland coastal plain.  There are three overnight campsites along the way.

The Coastal Trail is a spectacular, but challenging 20km walk trail in Cape Le Grand National Park, 30 minutes drive from Esperance. The experienced walker can hike from bay to bay, enjoying some of the best scenery in Australia; kangaroos basking on pristine white beaches, dolphins surfing the aqua waters and amazing views.

This easy four kilometre trail is the most westerly loop of the Cape Naturaliste Walk Trail Network, taking you nearly all the way to the tip of the cape with spectacular views along the way.

The Cape to Cape Walk Track runs for 123 kilometres along the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge, between the lighthouses of Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin in the far south west of Western Australia.  It features spectacular coastal and forest scenery, a fascinating geology of cliffs, caves, headlands and rock formations and an ever-changing display of vegetation and wildflowers.
